  • Ticket Machu Picchu is not responsible for natural disasters, strikes or any unforeseen event that prevent the normal development of our tours.
  • Ticket Machu Picchu is not responsible for accidents, property damage, loss of belongings, or any unforeseen event caused by third parties outside our staff.
  • The tour service is only made for the agreed date in advance and after cancellation of 100% of the value of the tour.
  • The purchase process of our tours is in 2 parts:
    • 1 deposit by credit or debit card of 60% of the value of the tour.
    • 1 final payment in cash or credit card of 40% of the value of the tour once in Cusco.
  • The Client can also choose to pay 100% of the value of the tour. Payment is made with one of our methods of payment by credit or debit card.
  • Ticket Machu Picchu reserves the right to cancel a tour in the event that the payment is not made 100% with due punctuality.
  • Ticket Machu Picchu reserves the right to cancel or modify a tour for causes that may compromise the safety or physical integrity of the Client.
  • One night before the tour, an agent will appear in the lobby of the Client’s hotel to agree on the starting point and everything related to the requested tour schedule.
  • On the day of the tour, the Client must only appear at the place and time agreed for the start of the tour. Ticket Machu Picchu is not responsible for delays or absence of the Client on the day of the tour.

Payment conditions

  • Ticket Machu Picchu, for being an intermediary agent, charges a commission on the base price of your train ticket, bus ticket and Machu Picchu ticket you are acquiring. This commission is already included in our prices published on our website.
  • The Client can make the payment of his reservation through the following ways: Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club or PayPal.
  • Payment must be made 100% during the next hours after making the reservation of the Machu Picchu ticket, train ticket or bus.

  • The final payment of the tours is made at least 1 night before the scheduled date for the start of the tour.

Issuance of tickets

  • Ticket Machu Picchu does not take charge of the data entered incorrectly by the Client, these may be rectified by paying the penalties indicated above.
  • Tickets with date of entry for 2019, can not be modified to enter in 2020. If a change of date of 2019 for 2020 is required, the initial reservation must be canceled and a new reservation created for 2020.
  • Changes and / or modifications of data are attended from Monday to Friday during office hours (from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm).

About the changes and data modifications of the train and bus ticket

  • Changes or modifications of bus tickets to Machu Picchu can not be made.

    • 5 – 29 days before the tour start date: 50% penalty on the initial payment amount.

About cancellations and reimbursements of the Machu Picchu entrance

  • Ticket Machu Picchu will only make cancellations and refunds of tickets purchased on our platform.
  • Cancellations of tickets are requested with a minimum advance of 72 hours before the date of entry to Machu Picchu consigned in the ticket. No last minute cancellations are accepted.
  • The cancellation proceeds only at the request of the Client and in writing by email, the Customer must pay a penalty for the same. The distribution of the cancellation is as follows:
    • Return to the Client: 65% of the value paid.
    • Penalty: 35% of the amount paid.
  • Tourists who have made the payment and request reimbursement in a short time (before the actual purchase of your ticket), receive 100% of the value paid (minus the shipping fee).
  • In case the respective payment of the reservation has been made and there is no availability of income for the requested date, 100% of the amount paid will be reimbursed (less the commission for the shipment).
  • The refund of the cancellation will be made in a maximum period of up to 48 hours before the date of entry to Machu Picchu consigned in the ticket. The refund will be made only through PayPal or directly at our office in the city of Cusco.
  • Cancellations of previously modified tickets are not accepted.
  • Ticket Machu Picchu does not make refunds through inter-bank operations.

About cancellations and reimbursements of train and bus tickets

  • No last minute cancellations are accepted.
  • The cancellation of train tickets have a single penalty:
    • Penalty of 10% of the value of the train ticket.

  • Cancellations of bus tickets are not accepted.

About cancellations and refunds of our tours

  • Clients are responsible for penalties due to cancellations.
  • Refunds will be made through PayPal or directly at our office in the city of Cusco.
  • Cancellations have the following penalties:
    • Penalty of 25%: if the request is submitted 16 – 30 days before the start date of the tour.
    • 50% penalty: if the request is submitted 8 – 15 days before the start date of the tour.
    • 100% penalty: if the request is submitted 7 days or less before the start date of the tour.
  • In case the Client does not have travel insurance, Ticket Machu Picchu will consider case-by-case cancellation requests for emergency reasons.

Release of responsibility

  • Ticket Machu Picchu is not responsible if the veracity of the data provided by the Client are not the same as the passport, ID or University Card.
  • Ticket Machu Picchu, is not responsible for problems with the train service, transportation bus services and shuttle buses to the Inca city, either due to delays, mechanical damage, cancellations due to weather or other reasons. The companies that provide this service are responsible for it.
  • Ticket Machu Picchu has no control over weather events, natural disasters or social conflicts that could prevent its arrival to the Inca city of Machu Picchu.
  • In case the Client has been affected by any of these incidents, Ticket Machu Picchu will only make effective the return of the amount of the commission value that we charge, the base price of our services must be assumed and reimbursed by the entity responsible for them.
  • Ticket Machu Picchu, is not responsible for the deterioration, partial or total loss of your luggage.
  • Ticket Machu Picchu, is not responsible for the transit of the Client within the archaeological sites of Machu Picchu.

The Client who can not make use of his tickets on the corresponding date and does not communicate timely, or perform any procedure, will lose all the right on the ticket, not corresponding any refund on the part of Ticket Machu Picchu.
