Ticket Huchuy Picchu

Ticket Inti Punku

The entrance with Machu Picchu + Inti Punku ticket is one of the entrances that opened for the high season. It has low capacity, but offers one of the best experiences. The route that connects the final stretch of the Inca Trail and Machu Picchu. During the ascent you can see some other Inca constructions. The ticket to Machu Picchu + Inca Bridge is one of the options for the high season. The high season will now have new ticket options to gain entrance to Machu Picchu. Special prices to Machu Picchu for Peruvians

• Machu Picchu is the main tourist attraction in South America. It is located in Peru so Peruvian citizens enjoy a special rate for income.
• This special benefit is only valid for citizens of Peru. The discount applies for any of the 5 types of tickets Machu Picchu.
• Peruvian visitors who are university students or minors; they access an even greater benefit. To do this, they must present the current university card or the DNI that certifies the age of the minor.
• People with an immigration card in Peru are not included in this benefit.

What is not included?

• The price does not include the train trip to Aguas Calientes. It only includes the entrance to the Wonder of the World and its attractions. To travel by train, you must make another reservation on the Peru Rail or Inca Rail websites.
• The price does not include the bus trip to the entrance door to the Inca City. Bus tickets are purchased separately. You can buy it online or once in Aguas Calientes.
• The price does not include the tour guide service. The guided service is reserved with a tourism agency or is contracted at the entrance door.
• The price does not include accommodation. Hotels and lodgings are purchased or reserved separately. The best accommodations are in Cusco, Urubamba and Aguas Calientes.
• The price does not include meals or any type of food. Food or drinks of any kind are in charge of the visitor.

Types of visitors and documents that they must send to acquire the Ticket Machu Picchu

Adult:

• National:
  People of Peruvian nationality. For which you must send a copy of the DNI.
  Countries that are members of the Andean Community, among them are Bolivia, Colombia and Ecuador. Send a copy of the valid Identity Document.
• Foreign:
  This rate applies to tourists from all foreign countries (send digital copy of valid passport).

Student:

• National:
  This rate applies to students from all Peruvian universities (send a digital copy of the current university card).
• Foreigner:
  This rate applies to students from all over the world who have a valid university card (send a digital copy of the university card and passport or identity document).

Minors:

• Foreign or National:
  The rate applies to all children and adolescents between 3 and 17 years old (send a copy of your passport or valid identity document).
  Children under 3 years old do not pay their entrance to Machu Picchu.

How to know if I access the discounts?

• University students access the discount if they are undergraduate students, under 25 years of age and have a valid university card.
• Children access the discount without being under 18 years of age.
• The citizens of Colombia, Ecuador and Bolivia have access to a discount for an agreement of member countries of the Andean Community of Nations (CAN).
• Peruvian citizens access this benefit if they have their valid ID.
• Children under 3 years old DO NOT PAY.

6 things you should know about the price of the Ticket Machu Picchu

• The Machu Picchu Ticket is nominal, this means that you must enter the full name, passport number, nationality and age of the person making the visit. The Machu Picchu Ticket can be used as many times as you wish on the date indicated on the ticket, respecting the entry and exit times of the Machu Picchu Archaeological Park.
• Machu Picchu is also possible by hiring a tourism agency. The advantage of buying the ticket online is that you can do it on your own and managing your own itinerary.
• Discounts are only possible by reserving the ticket with the necessary documentation (passport, identity document or university card).
• Seniors do not have a special discount. They pay the normal adult ticket except for citizens of Peru or members of the Andean Community (Colombia, Ecuador and Bolivia).
• University students only access the discount with their valid university card. The ISIC card is not valid.
• Children under 3 years old do not pay. To enter they must present their passport or identity document that certifies their age. They must also be accompanied by their father, mother or attorney-in-fact.

Other expenses that you must take into account apart from the Machu Picchu ticket

• Transportation to Aguas Calientes by train is a separate cost. The other way to go to the Wonder of the World is through the Inca Trail or the Hydroelectric route.
• The ascent to the entrance door is by bus. The other option is to do it on foot.
• The entrance to the Inca City with an official tourist guide is mandatory. You can reserve one with an agency or do it at the door of the enclosure.

• 1) How to pay?

• 2) Do foreigners residing in Peru, Colombia, Ecuador and Bolivia access discounts?

  Yes. Foreigners residing in these countries have access to the discount for being member citizens of CAN (Andean Community of Nations). They only have to make their respective reservation by sending a digital copy of their identity document or immigration card.

• 3) Can I enter Machu Picchu on two different days with the same ticket?

  No. The ticket is only valid for the day and time shown on the ticket. In case you want to visit the Inca City on two different days, you must buy two tickets for those days.

• 4) Does the Ticket Machu Picchu include taxes?

  Yes. Any type of tax is already included in the cost of the ticket.

• 5) Does sending money have any commission?

  Yes, payment with cards includes an additional commission of approximately 5% of the value of the ticket.

• 6) Can I pay with a VISA card?

  Yes, Visa is one of the most widespread payment methods in the world. You can make the payment with any type of Visa cards.

• 7) Are there returns?

  Yes. It is possible to make returns purchased with us. The process must be done at least 3 days in advance. The procedure has a 35% penalty (65% refund).

• 8) Can I buy the Ticket Machu Picchu at the entrance door?

  No. The ticket is only sold online. Buying in Cusco runs the risk of not finding availability. Tickets are not sold at the gate of the enclosure.
