The mountain trails lead to the summits of Huayna Picchu, Machu Picchu, and Huchuy Picchu. All of them traverse paths and stone steps built by the Incas hundreds of years ago. There are also hiking trails to the Inca Bridge, the Temple of the Moon (the Great Cave), and the Intipunku (Sun Gate). These hiking routes can be done by purchasing a specific ticket, such as: the Machu Picchu with Mountain ticket (Route 1A), the Machu Picchu with Inti Punku ticket (Route 1C), the Machu Picchu with Inca Bridge ticket (Route 1D), the Machu Picchu with Huayna Picchu ticket (Route 3A), the Machu Picchu with Temple of the Moon or Great Cave ticket (Route 3C), or the Machu Picchu with Huchuy Picchu ticket (Route 3D).
