The Poroy station is located 13 kilometers away from the city of Cusco. To get there you can take public transport, private transport or even a taxi (journey time approximately 30 minutes). 4 different train services depart from that station at different times of the day: Expedition, Vistadome, Vistadome Observatory and Hiram Bingham. From there the trip to Machu Picchu takes approximately 3 hours.

Route: Poroy - Aguas Calientes

The Poroy station is located 13 kilometers away from the city of Cusco. To get there, you can take public transport, private transport or even a taxi (journey time approximately 30 minutes). Only a few services depart from that station a day - all in the morning - at different times of the day. From there the trip to the Aguas Calientes station takes approximately 3 hours.

Route: Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes

The Ollantaytambo station is located 61 kilometers from the city of Cusco. You can get to that station traveling in a public minivan (the bus stop is on 'Pavitos' street in Cusco). Other options are to hire a private or shared transport. This trip takes approximately 1 hour 40 minutes. Most trains depart from Ollantaytambo station at different times.
