1 Day 1: Cusco Sacred Valley Tour – Pisac – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes

  1. The trip begins with the pick up of the tourist from the door of his hotel in the historic center of Cusco.
  2. Then a tourist minivan is boarded to go to the archaeological site of Pisac.
  3. Then we travel to the town of Urubamba to enjoy a buffet lunch at the prestigious Tunupa restaurant..
  4. Finally, you travel to Ollantaytambo to see its amazing archaeological site.
  5. At around 3:45 pm, the tourist must go to the Ollantaytambo station to board the Inca Rail The Voyager train to the town of Aguas Calientes (the train leaves at 4:36 pm).

2 Day 1: Lodging in Aguas Calientes

  1. Upon arrival in the town of Aguas Calientes, the tourist will be received by a collaborator who will accompany them to their chosen hotel for that night. All available hotels are located in the heart of town. To get there it is enough to do it on foot. The tour offers different types of hotels: from the standard services included (two stars), to the recommended services of three and four stars.
  2. In Aguas Calientes the tourist will receive a brief talk from the tour guide. Then you will have free time to have dinner on your own. In the chosen hotel you will spend the night. The next day it is time to visit Machu Picchu.

3 Day 2: From Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu

  1. The second day begins very early with breakfast included at the chosen hotel. Then you walk a few steps to the bus station in the town of Aguas Calientes.
  2. There you will have to queue for a few minutes to board the transport that will take you to the entrance gate of the archaeological site of Machu Picchu. The trip is short. It takes only 30 minutes to get there. The buses are spacious and comfortable. They allow you to enjoy the beautiful landscapes that are the prelude to the visit of Machu Picchu.

4 Day 2: Tour of Machu Picchu

  1. At the entrance gate of Machu Picchu the group of tourists will enter the archaeological site in the company of the tour guide.
  2. The tour goes through the main Inca constructions such as: the Temple of the Sun, the Main Temple, the Temple of the 3 Windows, the Intihuatana, the Sacred Rock, the Temple of the Condor and more.
  3. There will also be a stop in the Guardian's House sector to get the dream photos with Machu Picchu in the background.
  4. In total you will spend two hours or more in Machu Picchu. In the end, all tourists must leave the archaeological site with their tour guide.

5 Return to Cusco

  1. At the indicated time the group will meet at the train station to return to Ollantaytambo. Before that, you will have free time to have lunch in the town of Aguas Calientes.
  2. In Ollantaytambo, after the train trip, an agent will take you to the tourist minivan for the final return to Cusco. The return trip is also by Expedition train (optional Vistadome train).
  3. In Ollantaytambo you must transfer to a minivan that will finally take you to the city of Cusco at around 8 pm.
