The return is given at about 07:00 at night in the city of Cusco.

1 Cusco – Mollepata – Soraypampa

  • The Humantay Lagoon tour begins at 4:00 a.m. with pickup from your hotel in the historic center of Cusco.
  • The first stop will be in the Mollepata district, after a two-hour drive, where we will stop to enjoy the buffet breakfast.
  • Then, a short one-hour journey begins again until reaching the Soraypampa camp, located at 3,900 meters above sea level.

2 Soraypampa – Humantay Lagoon

  • Upon arriving at the Soraypampa camp, we'll prepare for the arduous hike to Humantay Lagoon. We'll be accompanied by our tour guide on this route and throughout the tour. The hike takes an average of 1 hour and 30 minutes (maximum 2 hours).
  • Tourists can optionally hire horses; the muleteers are local residents who rent them.

3 Humantay Lagoon – Mollepata – Cusco

  • After visiting Laguna Humantay, we'll return along the same path. The descent won't require much effort, although horse rentals are also available.
  • Our tour transportation will be waiting at the Soraypampa campsite. Before returning to Cusco, we'll stop in the town of Mollepata to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch.
